Embed a Kaltura Video

Before you begin: Contact the Educational Technology team to turn on Kaltura embeds for your site. This only needs to be done once.

  1. Begin to edit the post or page where you want your video.
  2. Add a new Embed block.

  3. Access Kaltura via kaltura.mtholyoke.edu. Some options are only available at this distinct web address, and not through the "My Media" interface in Moodle.
  4. From your video page, open the "Actions" menu and choose "Publish". From the list of available statuses, select "Unlisted" or "Published" and then save.
  5. Open the Share>oEmbed tab, and copy the link there.

  6. Paste the link into your Embed block in WordPress. Click the "Embed" button.

  7. Save and view your WordPress page (or post)! Your Kaltura video should now be embedded.
