Getting Started With Discover

View and manage your requests and loans

Whether you've borrowed a Mount Holyoke book or requested a book to borrow from another Five College library, you can keep track of your loans and requests using Discover's Requests & Loans feature.

Log into Discover

First you'll need to log into Discover.

1. In the Dashboard area of the screen click on 1 Requests & loans, then click on the 2 Sign in button that appears
2. The next window that appears will ask you to Choose how to sign in. Click on the Mount Holyoke College Students, Faculty, and Staff option:
   
3. When prompted, login with your Mount Holyoke username and password. After you're logged in, the Requests & loans page will appear.

Using the Requests & loans page

Discover's Requests & loans page has tabs for viewing your current Requests, Loans, and any Fees you might owe.

The Requests tab will show you the status of a request. If you have any Requests in progress ("On request") as in the example below, you'll be given the option to Remove request if the item hasn't already been sent out for delivery:

The Loans tab displays items you already have checked out, with information about each item's loan will expire (think of this as the due date) and a Renew link to allow you to renew the loan for additional time:
