Welcome to the Using Discover Guide. This guide provides an overview of enhancements to Discover, LITS' search engine for finding print and electronic materials. In July 2022, the Five Colleges will be migrating together onto a new library system, FOLIO, and discontinuing the Five Colleges Libraries Catalog (brand name: Aleph). With this move we will be incorporating improved user account functions into our primary search system, Discover(brand name: EBSCO Discovery Service). This guide provides some context for this decision, a timeline, some search strategies, and an FAQ.
