English 199: Introduction to the Study of Literature

This guide is an introduction to the different types of information sources used in the study of literature and tools for finding them. It also includes searching tips, citing tips, and writing tools. Because most of us are working online for fall 2020, the guide emphasizes finding sources that are available to Mount Holyoke students online. If you're new to accessing the library's resources from off campus, check out the General Tips for Using Library Databases From Off Campus page for instructions.
