Archives and Special Collections Research Services

Digital reproductions of materials in Archives and Special Collections can be found in our digital repository Compass. Compass provides access to a range of unique archival materials at Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Hampshire Colleges. Digitized MHC publications include the student newspaper collection (1891-2017), yearbooks. (1896-1973), course catalogs (1840-2017), freshman handbooks (1897-1999), and the Alumnae Quarterly magazine (1891-1994). 

Archives and Special Collections also preserves websites of Mount Holyoke College. Since 2015 we have used an Archive-It.org account to select and manage web content produced by or about the MHC community.
