Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Standards and Procedures

Large Print

For students with large print accommodations, please ensure that all printed handouts are provided digitally or in their preferred enlarged font.

  • Documents requiring large print font include the course syllabus, reading assignments, quizzes, exams, and tests.
  • Please read aloud as you write on the board.
  • If your course involves lab activities, please ensure that equipment, chemicals, instructions, and warning signs are in large print. Contact AccessAbility Services if you need assistance.  Please also discuss any necessary safety procedures with the student in your class.

Braille

Faculty do not need to create Braille.  AccessAbility Services is responsible for securing textbooks in alternative format for approved students who request them, including those who require Brailled materials.
