ENGL 394MN: Music and the Irish Novel



Multimedia creation & editing


Digital still and video cameras, digital audio recorders, tripods, light kits, microphones, external hard drives, etc. may be borrowed from LITS' Media Services using the Media Equipment Reservation Form.  Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance of when the equipment is needed, and all loans are for a 3 day period.

Scanners, useful for digitizing any images you might find in print source, are available in the library's Information Commons and Dwight Hall MEWS.


PhotoShop - This still image editing software is available on all public and lab computers on campus. Its Save for Web feature (found in File > Export > Save for Web) is particularly useful for resizing the dimensions of an image/making sure you save it in a format that can be used on the web.

iMovie - Video editing software available on all public and lab Macs on campus.

Powerpoint - Presentation/slideshow software installed on all public and lab computers on campus.
