Most library database allow you to login and gain remote access via proxy. Access databases from the LITS E-Resources A to Z page and login using your regular Mount Holyoke username and password (same as email) when prompted. More information at Accessing Databases Remotely (from off-campus). Five College students registered for Mount Holyoke courses may need to obtain one-semester guest accounts. A couple of useful resources to use while you're abroad:
|
Moodle will work from off campus just as it does on campus.
You can log in at: http://moodle.mtholyoke.edu. When you log in, you will see all of your courses. As with ella, courses remain invisible to students until they are published.
Links from Moodle to subscription databases may require an additional login (see database access above).
Help documents for self-guided training are available or contact your LITS liaison.
Refworks can be accessed from off campus, however you will need to be ON CAMPUS when you first create your Refworks account. Once you have created your account, to login from off campus, you'll need Mount Holyoke's group code. Please email the Research and Instructional Support (RIS) team at ris-d@mtholyoke.edu to request the Mount Holyoke group code. After you have the group code you will go to Refworks.com/refworks as usual, then click on "Login using your Group Code." Enter Mount Holyoke's group code, then login to your personal account and use RefWorks as you would on campus.
Research Help - Even though you are off campus, you still have access to research help from Mount Holyoke librarians. Us the Contact Us page to chat, e-mail, or phone.
